The most prestigious ranking in Hobbit is the "troops killed"-ranking.
A lot of players that want to be high on TK-ranking are looking for players with wall units. Wall units cannot be hidded. Wall units are weak in comparison to their might. So wall units are perfect targets for a player that want to be on the top in terms of TK.
When it comes to normal troops, you should avoid tier 2 (those with two stars).
In a battle it is the health that matters, not might. If you calculate how much might there is per health unit you get the following: Tier 1: 4 might per each health unit Tier 2: 8 might per each health unit Tier 3: 6 might per each health unit
The more health per might the better, because when the life is over a troop, you want to loose as little might as possible. This means that T1 are best. T2 are twice a bad as T1, so that is why top players avoid training tier 2 units.
